ICT Coursework Drive

With our impending half-term coursework deadline for ICT and the recent weather disruption, pupils are really taking advantage of the extra ICT lessons on offer.

Up until half term, pupils will be able to stay and put in extra time on their coursework for up to two hours per night. Head of Department, Mr. C. Thomas said: "Normally, pupils in a GCSE class would get 150 minutes with a specialist ICT teacher per week. In this run-up to our coursework deadline, we are giving away a massive 480 minutes of contact time per week. This will have an enormous impact on the result for any pupil smart enough to take advantage of it."

In the two weeks before the final submission date, pupils will also be able to take advantage of a number of Saturday morning coursework clinics. The time and date of these will be announced when details have been finalised.

Any parent wanting an update on their child's progress in ICT is more than welcome to contact the relevant teacher directly.
