E-safety is seen as a priority at Abertillery Comprehensive School

The need to keep our children and young people safe is of the utmost importance. We are currently in the process of renewing our Acceptable Internet Use policy to become an e-safety policy. This is to reflect the changing nature of technology and how young people use it.
The use of mobile phones, text messaging and instant messaging is now a part of youth culture, and our aim is to raise awareness and understanding of the issues, and to point people in the right direction if they feel they been exposed to inappropriate material in any form at any time.
