Huge congratulations to those year 11 pupils who sat their final GCSE in November. 96% gained A* to C grade and 30% gained a grade A*/A! This is a refection of their hard work and determination to achieve their potential. These students are also part of the group who have also gained a GCSE in statistics. A fantastic 22% gained a grade A and 87% gained grade C or above.
You have been excellent role models to your fellow year 11 mathematicians. Well done!

These students are now also following the additional mathematics course to gain their 3rd GCSE in mathematics in 2 years!!! Hopefully their recent success will be replicated in August.
A pilot group of year 9 students started their GCSE early by taken the first module in November 2009. We had very pleasing results from this group with particular congratulations to David Hutchings achieving a grade A and Mark Hutchings a grade A*.
