Here is the final tie design that pupils will be wearing from September. Each pupil will receive a free of charge tie on his or her first day of school in September. Kelvin Farmer created the winning design and had this to say,
"I entered the tie design competition and won it! I was really pleased when I found out that I had the most votes for my design. I had to design my tie again for the manufacturer on the computer and therefore had to make some amendments to my design. I decided against putting the logo on the top ....
..of the tie as I did not feel it looked as good. I was asked if I preferred a fat or a thin tie and I made the decision to go with the thin version. Mr. Stock has told me that we will be getting a tie on the first day of term."
